Documents for court and examination

Documents to prepare for a court-appointed or pre-litigation technical and IT examination: court order, contract, technical specifications, acceptance certificates, correspondence, logs and electronic materials.

If the examination is ordered by a court

  • the order appointing the examination and the court's questions;
  • case materials relevant to the technical circumstances;
  • contract, technical specifications, detailed technical specifications, specifications, acceptance certificates and records;
  • storage media, files, logs, exports and other objects submitted for examination;
  • version, period, account and configuration details, where relevant.

If a pre-litigation opinion is required

  • a brief description of the situation and purpose of the examination;
  • contractual documents and technical requirements;
  • correspondence, acceptance certificates, comments and acceptance documents;
  • available digital material that can be verified;
  • draft questions or facts that need to be established technically.

If a review is required

Provide the completed report together with the decision or order, questions, examined objects and annexes where possible. Without source materials, internal logic and methodology can often be assessed, but the factual completeness of the examination cannot always be checked.
