How we work
Technical and IT examination process: initial assessment, materials, questions, estimate, examination, opinion and delivery of the result.
Initial inquiry
Briefly describe the dispute, subject, case stage and expected result: specialist opinion, examination, review or technical consultation.
Preliminary review of materials
We check whether the documents and digital data are sufficient for examination and which additional materials must be obtained.
Defining the examination subject and scope
We record the software version, device, dataset, period, configuration, access and other technical boundaries of the task.
Framing questions
Questions are formulated so they can be answered using specialist technical knowledge, without substituting for legal assessment.
Agreeing on fees and timeframe
The scope of work depends on the number of objects, dataset, need for an on-site visit, system access and difficulty of reproducing a defect.
Examination
We inspect, record initial data, check functions and analyze logs, files, metadata, documentation and other available technical indicators.
Preparing the opinion
The document describes the objects and materials, approach used, verification results, examination limitations and answers to the questions raised.
Delivery of the result
The Client receives the agreed deliverable and annexes; where required, the specialist's attendance at a court hearing or explanation of technical matters is agreed separately.
