Recording and examination of Telegram correspondence

We will record accessible messages, publications and attachments. We distinguish observed content, information from exports and technical circumstances requiring additional data.

When it is needed

An examination may be needed in a dispute about arrangements in a private chat, a channel publication, document transfer or the sequence of group messages. The assignment should state whether it requires inspection of an accessible source, export analysis or comparison of several packages.

What we record and examine

  • Private chats, accessible groups, channels and individual publications.
  • Text, media files, documents, links and surrounding context.
  • Available account information, names, usernames and identifiers in the data provided.
  • Telegram Desktop exports in HTML or JSON, where available for the chat concerned.

What to prepare

  • Publication links, access to correspondence on your own device or an export obtained using the application's built-in tools.
  • Period, list of messages and an explanation of their relevance to the task.
  • Original attachments with export directories, preserving their relative locations.
  • Previously saved versions, screenshots and details of when they were obtained.

Sample questions

  • Which Telegram messages and attachments are accessible in the chat or publication examined?
  • Which Telegram account details are displayed in the source and contained in the export?
  • Does the content of the specified Telegram messages match across the versions provided?
  • Which signs of Telegram message editing or forwarding can be observed?
  • Do the Telegram source data allow the sequence of selected messages to be reconstructed, and what are the limitations?

How the work proceeds

During inspection, we identify the source, access method, boundaries of the selected fragment and observed information. When analyzing an export, we compare records and attachments and assess the structure and available fields. We separately note differences between the application view and export data, and how the result depends on history availability for the particular account.

What to bear in mind

Usernames and display names can change. A forwarding marker does not establish the original author, and the absence of an editing marker in a particular file does not prove a message is unchanged. An export does not guarantee preservation of all correspondence that ever existed; its availability depends on the chat type and settings.

How to preserve source data

Do not delete the chat or reinstall the application before agreeing on the task. If an export exists, preserve its original directory structure and attachments. For a private group or chat, we agree on lawful access without disclosing passwords or codes in publicly accessible correspondence.

Result and fee

Depending on the assignment, we prepare a technical inspection record, a description of the saved package or a specialist opinion with examination and conclusions. The result identifies the objects, working conditions, methods used and limitations.

We agree on the fee after determining the number of sources, period, volume of messages and attachments, need for device inspection and questions. An initial call of up to 15 minutes is free.

Frequently asked questions

Can a private group be examined?

We can discuss examining materials to which the applicant has lawful access. Inspection arrangements, scope and transfer method are agreed separately; bypassing access restrictions is outside the service.

Will deleted correspondence be recovered?

This result is not promised in advance. First, we determine which materials remain on the device, in accessible history and in previously obtained copies.

Must the entire account be exported?

Usually, the specific chat, period and attachments are defined first. Unnecessary information from other conversations need not be provided.
